1,Underwear sewing process – lining saving and crimping
Hello everyone, I’m Lia, today we are going to talk about the processing of underwear manufacturing about lining.
The Role of Lining in Underwear Manufacturing
The lining is a crucial component located within the cup of underwear. It is typically made from cotton fabric, which is known for its excellent moisture absorption and sweat-wicking properties. This makes the lining comfortable and snug against the body.
“Saving” – Sewing the Lining Cut Edge
The process of “saving” involves sewing the cut edge of the lining to ensure it lies flat against the cup. This technique not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also improves the comfort of wearing. To achieve consistency in size, we use cardboard to compare the pieces and check for color differences, damage, and other不良 conditions. We employ a flat car (single needle car) for sewing, ensuring that the entrance and exit points of the lining fold are aligned and follow the shape of the tip towards the middle. The stitches should be dense to prevent outbursts and to maintain a beautiful shape. It’s important to pay attention to the tension of the stitches; they should neither be loose nor too tight, as this can affect the comfort of wearing.
Lining Crimping Line
The lining crimping line is created with fine stitches, pressing out a straight line directly above the provincial position of the lining. This is done using single needle sewing, ensuring that both sides of the line are symmetrical and parallel. This process further strengthens the role of beautifying and modifying the lining. Production staff must master skilled techniques to keep the pressing process even and consistent in size, which is essential for the appearance of the final product. It’s important to note that the thread tension should not be loose or too tight, as this will affect the wearing comfort.
